Today, I’m going to show you how to beat procrastination using a 3-step system that actually works. No gimmicks, no hype.
This isn't about getting more done. It’s about finally doing the things that move your business forward. With this system, you’ll stop stalling, start shipping, and follow through even on low-energy days.
Unfortunately, most people try to beat procrastination with more discipline, or worse, shame.
They make giant to-do lists. Rely on productivity hacks. Or wait to “feel motivated.”
None of it works. Why?
- They don’t solve the real block (emotional friction, not time)
- They expect motivation to be reliable (it’s not)
- They try to do too much, too fast, and burn out
Procrastination isn’t laziness. It’s resistance.
This system helps you bypass it so you can finally build, publish, and grow consistently.
Motivation is a trap.
There will be zero “just do it” pep talks here. Just a repeatable system that helps you:
- Start meaningful tasks without overthinking
- Make progress in short, focused bursts
- End the day with zero guilt and visible output
- Build consistency without chasing motivation
Let’s break it down 👇
How to Ship Daily in 3 Steps
Here’s the full system broken into 3 simple, repeatable steps:
- Identify the friction
- Shrink the task until it feels easy
- Anchor it to something you already do
Step 1: Identify the friction
Most tasks aren’t hard. They just feel hard until you understand why you’re avoiding them.
Ask yourself: “What’s making this feel uncomfortable?”
Common answers:
- “I don’t know where to start.”
- “What if no one buys?”
- “This is going to take forever.”
Procrastination is just unprocessed friction.
If you’re avoiding writing the landing page, maybe it’s because you’re unsure about your offer.
If you’re avoiding content, maybe it’s fear of being judged.
Call it out. Then you can move past it.
Step 2: Shrink the task until it feels easy
If the task feels big, your brain hits snooze.
Instead, ask: “What’s the 2-minute version of this?”
Examples:
- Instead of “Write my product page,” use “Write 3 bullets about the offer.”
- Instead of “Film a video,” use “Jot the 3 main points.”
- Instead of “Build the funnel,” use “Outline one email subject line.”
The goal isn’t to finish the task. It’s to make it so small that starting feels automatic.
Once you begin, momentum takes over.
Step 3: Anchor it to something you already do
Don’t rely on motivation. Rely on sequence.
Connect the task to a habit that already exists in your day.
Examples:
- After coffee, post on X
- After checking email, write 3 bullet points for your offer
- After lunch, send 1 cold DM
Anchoring removes the “when should I do this?” question.
The habit is already there. You’re just piggybacking on it.
By following this system, you’ll bypass friction and take action even on days when nothing feels easy. This is how you start building real momentum.
